TMZ.com is reporting that MMA fighter Kimbo Slice has been hospitalized near his home in Coral Springs, Florida, with multiple sources telling the celebrity gossip website that the situation currently is "dire."

The website further reports that law enforcement sources are still at work gathering further information from Slice's family members.

Slice's last professional fight took place back at February's Bellator 149, where he defeated Dada 5000; however, that victory was later overturned when it was determined that Slice had tested positive for a banned substance.
