-- Jeff Hardy reportedly suffered a broken neck at Tuesday night's SmackDown/ECW taping. He was scheduled to do an autograph signing at a Best Buy in Rockford, Illinois yesterday, but Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase replaced him. Hardy was also advertised for last night's house show in Rockford, but did not appear. WWE.com is still advertising the Jeff Hardy vs. MVP match for tonights SummerSlam pay-per-view.
UPDATE ...
- From Cait: Just thought I'd pass along the information that over on the hardyshow.com message board the topic of Jeff Hardy's "broken neck" came up. Tamran who is a reliable source of Hardy information said the following
"not true....jeff is injured, he's having some elbow issues that's why he was pulled off things this weekend. so he can be at the PPV on sunday." This would make more sense, not sure why the store was telling people he had a broken neck.
