Fightful is reporting that WWE has made a number of releases from the NXT 2.0 brand today.

One of those names is Dakota Kai, In 2021, Kai and Raquel González won the inaugural Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic , and became the inaugural NXT Women's Tag Team Champions. She had been involved with NXT dating back to 2015.

Prior to her signing with WWE, she wrestled under the ring name Evie, and appeared for Impact Pro Wrestling (IPW), Shimmer Women Athletes, Shine Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Women's Alliance (PWA Australia).
