ROH Supercard of Honor took place on Friday night and it was reportedly a big success on pay-per-view.
This was also the first show under the leadership and booking of AEW President Tony Khan who booked the return of Samoa Joe and AEW stars FTR defeating Jay and Mark Briscoe to become the ROH Tag Team Champions.
During the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed the event delivered over 20,000 PPV buys, which is internally being viewed as a big success especially given Honor Club subscribers got to view the event for free.
"For Ring of Honor, they did over 20,000 buys between streaming and television. I don’t know how much over, but they beat 20,000. Which for that show, considering all the stuff that was going on all night, considering what Ring of Honor usually does, that’s a phenomenal number."
