TMZ is reporting that David Otunga is auctioning off Jennifer Hudson's engagement ring.
Otunga got the ring back from Hudson back in 2017, despite the fact that they never went through on their wedding.
Otunga is currently selling the item on IDoNowIDont.com. The ring is valued at $45,000, with Otunga planning to give a portion of the proceeds to a fathers’ rights organization. Otunga and Hudson had a legal battle after their break-up, involving custody over their child, who was born in 2009.
The size seven ring, which Otunga had gotten Neil Lane to design, is GIA certified. The 5-carat cushion cut diamond ring was originally given to Hudson in 2008. She wore it during a number of big moments in her career, including winning a Grammy back in 2009. WWE used their relationship to try to boost Otunga's credit with the audience during the original version of NXT.
