Big E has been hospitalized.
The former WWE Champion took an overhead belly-to-belly suplex during a bit with Ridge Holland, where Big E inadvertently landed on his own head.
Big E was stretchered out of Legacy Arena and taken to a local hospital, which was not shown on television.
Big E said in a video posted to Twitter that he has retained all feeling and movement in his limbs and extremities and his strength level "feels fine," but doctors informed him he has suffered a broken neck.
"I can't thank all of you beautiful people enough for all of your concern and messages. It's very heartwarming. ... I'm gonna be all right. I'll be good. Don't worry. Go to sleep. Don't worry about old me. But for real, thank you. I appreciate all of you."
