Chris Jericho Doesn't Believe Feud With Kenny Omega Would Have Worked In WWE

During an appearance on The Kurt Angle Show, Chris Jericho spoke about what, to him, is the biggest difference between WWE and AEW.

“I think the biggest difference right out of the gate is [AEW] is our company. That’s what really appealed to me to go there in the first place.”

Jericho recalled going to NJPW to feud with Kenny Omega, and feeling that the feud wouldn't work in WWE's system due to factors like feeling the feud needed blood to cement intensity.

Jericho also recalled not having an agent for his match against Omega, something that would have never happened in WWE's system. Jericho credits the freedom he got in that feud with Kenny Omega being what made him fall back in love with professional wrestling.
