Malcolm Bivens was recently a guest on The Black Announce Table, where he spoke about his friendship with Kevin Owens.

"Kevin is a really good friend of mine, Kevin, all of New Day, Dakota Kai, Wendy Choo, those are people that are part of my inner circle, so to speak. They have helped me so much. They are the best people that I know as far as wrestling, their knowledge, they are just really smart people. We can bounce ideas off of each other and all those people I named, I wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for them. They've been incredibly helpful and I'm sure I've forgotten some other names, please forgive me. Kevin has been a huge asset for me. Hopefully, one day, I will repay the favor and help him win the WWE Championship at Backlash."
