Roman Reigns Retains At Royal Rumble

It's the Royal Rumble tonight if you didn't know and the show kicked off with the title match for the WWE Universal Championship between Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns.

Between the ropes, the match was an excellent showing between two wrestlers at the top of their game but alas, the finish was typical of WWE. Rollins was trapped in a triangle choke and fading. The referee lifted his arm to check it and dropped it onto the bottom rope before demanding Reigns break the hold. Reigns refused and held on past a 5 count to get himself disqualified.

After the match, Reigns assaulted Rollins further with a steel chair as the crowd reigned down boos upon him.
