WWE Reportedly Told Mustafa Ali They Have No Plans Of Releasing Him

Fightful Select is reporting that WWE and Mustafa Ali have spoken with each other following Ali's request to leave WWE, and that Ali was informed that they would not be granting his request for a release at this moment.

Ali has a couple of years left on his WWE deal, but hasn't been used on WWE TV or even at tapings in over two months. While some suspected that he was out on paternity leave, the report states that he only asked for one show off.

The report also claims the term "value" was brought up a lot in the discussions, thought no specifics were given on that or why WWE didn't grant Ali's release. The report also claims that Ali and Vince McMahon had a heated argument over creative direction, and he's not been back to WWE TV since then.
