Dave Meltzer Apologizes For Making Holocaust Joke About WWE

The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter has come out with it's usual rumors and speculation, however, fans are talking less about Dave Meltzer's reports in the newsletter and focusing more on what's being described by many as an insensitive joke while writing about the Elimination Chamber being booked for Saudi Arabia.

"I guess they decided to book the Chamber in Saudi Arabia because Auschwitz has COVID restrictions this month."

This has caused a typical social media battle between people who were offended and people who weren't.

Following the social media backlash, Meltzer apologized.

As someone who lost multiple family members in the holocaust I take it beyond seriously. The line was to
bring up the question of using the term Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia. Obviously it was meant as a message but I apologize for those who were offended by it. https://t.co/sXbVV1iJWR
