Original GLOW star Dee Booher (Matilda The Hun) has passed away at the age of 73.
Booher first entered professional wrestling by organizing amateur mud wrestling shows, performing as a masked character named "Queen Kong". After California's gaming commission barred her from wrestling men, her first professional match was against a 700 lb bear!
Legendary pro wrestling journalist Bill Apter revealed the news of Dee Booher’s passing on social media. He was informed by GLOW alumnus Roxy Astor on January 8.
Booher had apparently been ill for some time.
WrestlingNewsSource.com sends out our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Booher.
Very sad to hear about the passing of Dee Booher, better known as Queen Kong and Matilda the Hun from GLOW. An actress, wrestler, stunt woman, she appeared in countless TV shows, commercials and B movies. She was 70. pic.twitter.com/JrHHWbIuKM
