Scott Armstrong has been released from the WWE as of yesterday, caught within the wave of names that made headlines during WWE's latest cleaning frenzy.
Armstrong joined WWE in 2006 and was furloughed in April 2020. However, months later Armstrong was brought back around October of the same year. During that time, he worked as a referee and timing out shows.
Armstrong also oversaw a lot of the refereeing in NXT.
