WWE has nixed plans for their upcoming tour of Canada next month.
The company was scheduled to kick off a tour of Canada on Friday, January 21, 2022, for a SmackDown event in Winnipeg and then hold house shows on Saturday and Sunday night in Regina and Saskatoon before their Monday, January 24, 2022 episode of WWE RAW in Edmonton.
The shows reportedly all had good ticket sales so it is curious as to why the company has nixed the show although some speculate it could have something to do with upcoming COVID-19 travel restrictions.
All the dates have been rescheduled for the United States with SmackDown in Nashville, TN, the house shows in Corbin, KY, and Huntington, WV, and WWE RAW in Toledo, OH.
The WWE Canadian dates in January have been pulled (Winnipeg & Edmonton had good advances so it's not ticket sales) are now off the schedule. Appears Toronto as well but we are checking.
