Paul Heyman was recently a guest on The Nick Cattles Show, where he spoke about what he missed most about wrestling during the Pandemic era.
"The return to live crowds. Just the interaction with the audience. I love to play with an audience. Roman Reigns and The Usos love to play with an audience. If you're in WWE and you don't find the interaction with an audience to be spiritually orgasmic, you're in the wrong promotion. We are everything that a live concert is supposed to be. The audience itself is a character in the show. To play with that audience and interact with that audience is the best part of it. It's a high. It's beyond rockstar status. It's an exquisite moment that you get to experience and if it's done right, it's better than sex, at least the sex I've had or the sex my partners tells me they've had with me. It's magnificent, a great experience. When you get to play with that crowd...I've been talking for a living for 35 years and I still find it difficult to convey in words the enormity of the fulfillment that one feels playing with a live crowd, especially on live television."
