Halloween Havoc: Tommaso Ciampa Defeated Bron Breakker, Retains NXT Championship

Tommaso Ciampa defeated Bron Breakker to retain his NXT Championship during Halloween Havoc on USA Network tonight.

It was reported earlier on Tuesday by @WrestleVotes on Twitter that tonight would see the start of the Breakker era and it could be the end of Ciampa at the top, with a shift in direction with the new NXT 2.0.

That obviously didn't materialize for whatever reason.

Breakker will however have a big role to plan in the NXT brand going forward and he will no doubt one day hold the title.
