An Edgier NXT Product: Seth Rollins Says He's 'Very Excited'

Some reports recently suggested that Vince McMahon wants NXT 2.0 to be geared toward a younger audience, especially with a focus on the 18-34 demographic. McMahon has reportedly greenlit plans to make NXT edgier and contain more adult humor.

As seen on Wednesday's WWE NXT on USA Network, there were signs of an edgier direction with both Bron Breakker and Andre Chase both using the expletive "shit" during the broadcast without censorship.

Additionally, there was a skit with Johnny Gargano and condoms in Dexter Lumis and Indy Hartwell’s hotel room, which many pointed out as being edgier.

Seth Rollins has also responded to being about to say "shit" on WWE television, tweeting:
