In the main event of tonight's Extreme Rules pay-per-view, "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns defeated "The Demon King" Finn Balor to retain the WWE Universal Championship in an Extreme Rules Match.
Just when it appeared as though Balor had the match won, the top rope broke when Balor was preparing to deliver the Coup de Grace to Reigns. This allowed Reigns to hit a Spear on Balor to get the pinfall victory.
