With the impending rumors of both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's WWE contracts expiring semi-soon, it seems that you can add another name to the speculation list.
It is being reported by Fightful that Johnny Gargano's WWE contract is expiring December 3, 2021, with a WWE source conforming this report to them.
The source states that they had previously believed Adam Cole and Gargano's contracts were set to expire at the same time, and planned to negotiate with both of them around the same time. Obviously that didn't quite happen that way, as Cole's contract expired and he debuted in AEW at All Out.
Candace Larae's contract apparently doesn't expire until 2022, and her deal has not been frozen due to her pregnancy (which sometimes happens with injuries as well.)
From Fightful:
"Gargano is one of several NXT talent that were offered new contracts in the Fall of 2019 when NXT went to the USA Network. A WWE source said that there wasn't much incentive for top talent to re-sign for several years at the rates being offered, which were "nowhere near" the Raw and Smackdown deals being offered at the time."
