Following AEW Rampage: Grand Slam last night, Eddie Kingston took the microphone to cut a promo to the live crowd where he called New York "AEW's town."
“I love you, New York! I’m so proud of us! I’m so proud of each and every one of you. Ladies and gentlemen, my mentor, my man, my hero, The Notorious 187, Homicide! Jon Moxley! Mom! Mom, I know you’re here. Thank you for putting up with me. I love you, Ma! I love you! Marc Gordon, rest in peace! I miss you Uncle Kevin, rest in peace! Guess what though? I’ll give an interview, I feel nice, I don’t give a f*** about the time. Before certain people got here, we sold this mother out. Hold on. And we put our flag down in New York in dirt. But with those people that just joined us, we’ve retook our flag and put it in cement. New York is now AEW’s town! And if you don’t like it?! [Throws up the finger.]”
