FOX Reported Tired To Help WWE Sign CM Punk

It was recently reported FOX was not happy about WWE not securing CM Punk's return to the company, instead, he signed with All Elite Wrestling.

Punk and FOX had a very good relationship, it was they who signed him as an analyst on WWE Backstage on FS1.

Dave Meltzer revealed in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE had no interest in him, FOX wanted WWE to offer Punk and deal when it was clear he was AEW bound but,  "WWE supposedly responded saying that the money figure he wanted was too high."

Additionally, company officials told FOX, "there were other reasons they didn’t want him, the attitude issues and such."
