WWE SummerSlam 2021 Location Plans Described As A 'Disaster'

WWE today announced that SummerSlam 2021 will take place on Saturday, August 21 from a summer destination location. The venue will be revealed during the 2021 Belmont Stakes’ pre-race show on NBC next Saturday, June 5.

Several cities are reportedly in the running to host the biggest WWE pay-per-view of the summer including the leading rumored location of Las Vegas, NV.

However, today insider source @WrestleVotes noted on Twitter that SummerSlam location plans are a "DISASTER" with Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast quote tweeting and saying, "I want to exit this room and run to my car."

A Twitter user asked Jon Alba "Do you reckon that ‘something significant’ could be the Manny Pacquiao fight?" to which he responded, "Related, yes. But I think it's much deeper than just a date conflict."
