WWE Has Recently Been 'In Talks' With John Cena About Returning

WWE is reportedly in talks with John Cena and wants him back in the fold when the company returns to the road.

In the latest Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer reports that WWE was "in talks" with John Cena as of last week to appear on the July 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, although nothing is 100% set in stone.

The July 16 episode of WWE SmackDown will be the return of live touring for the company and will take place in Houston, Texas.

Additionally, Meltzer noted that Roman Reigns vs. John Cena at WWE SummerSlam 2021 has been talked about but again nothing confirmed.
