On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Miro attacked his former tag-team partner in Kip Sabian.

Sabian tweeted this past weekend that he would be requiring surgery.

In an update, Fightful is reporting that Sabian has been "on the shelf" since April. He recently returned from a knee injury that kept him off television prior to this.

Having Miro attack Sabian was the company's way of writing him off television for the foreseeable.

It remains unclear how long he will be off our screen.
