The WWE Universal Title match scheduled for WrestleMania 37 is currently scheduled to be Roman Reigns defending against Edge.
In an update, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that this match is set to change as soon as tonight's SmackDown on FOX.
Vince McMahon's recently decided to add Daniel Bryan to the mix, effectively making it a triple threat match when it is announced. There was some concern from WWE officials that fans may cheer for Reigns over Edge, which is being viewed as the reason why Edge turned heel. In addition, adding Bryan will make him the clear babyface of the match.
Another source also noted that Vince has also been concerned with Edge and his feeling is he is "looking older every week" but untimely McMahon just wanted to change things up.
We should hear about the planned changes on tonight's SmackDown.
