According to a report from Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com/The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, legendary professional wrestling promoter Jim Crockett Jr. is currently in very bad health. Meltzer notes that Crockett is in "grave condition" and his situation is "not looking good."
The 76-year-old Crockett is a former President of the National Wrestling Alliance, having served as President off-and-on from 1980 to 1991. He and his father, Jim Crockett Sr., were the owners of JCP: Jim Crockett Promotions, which was the forerunner to Ted Turner's World Championship Wrestling.
Jim Crockett Jr. left the professional wrestling business in the mid-1990s.
