WrestlingInc. is exclusively reporting that according to sources involved in the recent Impact Wrestling/Sammy Guevara situation the issue seems to stem from the fact the company had Guevara booked in a series of tag matches on their show, but Guevara wanted to work singles matches instead.

Guevara also pitched wanting to win the Impact Wrestling X-Division title and bring it to AEW Dynamite. The pitch was that Guevara would never lose the title, and it would be stripped at some point, then put up for grabs in a tournament with Impact wrestlers.

Guevara recently left the Inner Circle on AEW television, it remains unclear if he will appear on Impact Wrestling.
