ECW Alumni Paul Varelans Passes Away

Former UFC finalist and ECW alumni Paul Varelans has passed away following his battle with COVID-19.

Varelans is most remembered by wrestling fans for his match against Taz at ECW Hardcore Heaven in 1996, where Taz defeated him via submission in what was billed as a "shoot fight" in order to build Taz's credibility.

Varlans was 51 years old.
