Matt Cardona's Current Status With IMPACT Wrestling

It's currently being reported by Fightful that Matt Cardona, the former Zack Ryder who debuted at last night's IMPACT Wrestling: Hard to Kill event, is currently not signed to a contract with the promotion.
Despite this, Cardona is scheduled to work this week's episode of Impact Wrestling. This is similar to the deal he had with AEW, where he made a few appearances without being signed.
This could be a tryout run, so we'll have to see where it goes from here.
