According to a report from Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com/The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Japanese promotion World Wonder Ring Stardom has requested for former World of Stardom Champion Kairi Hojo (known as Kairi Sane to WWE fans) to make a special appearance at their upcoming show in Tokyo's Budokan Hall on March 3rd, but WWE is not allowing this to happen.

For those who might not be aware, although she has retired from in-ring competition, Kairi is still under contract with WWE.

Meltzer said the following about the situation:

"Other plans include trying to bring back stars from the past, most notably Kairi Hojo (Sane). Hojo is still under contract to WWE and she went to the Japanese WWE office for help in approving doing an appearance on the show but this got nowhere."
