Chris Masters On His WWE Run Not Working Out

During an interview with Hannibal TV, Chris Masters spoke about his WWE run-- namely how much success he saw while there.

"I had my personal demons at that point that got in my way. You could tell Vince was going back and forth about possibly grooming me or putting me in a world title spot. I think I might have done things to lose faith in them and even then with the intercontinental title it was the same thing. They had me slated to win it, it was in a 4 way tornado match or something on Raw but that’s when they caught wind I had demons in terms of prescription pill difficulties and so that kind of ruined that opportunity for me as well. Yeah, I had opportunity even with the tag belts, Carlito and me were actually supposed to be win the tag belts at that Wrestlemania 21, that’s how it was originally slated but the decision was switched just the day before."
