Cody Rhodes Rips Into Fan For Using Homophobic Slur at Sonny Kiss

Hyping up his upcoming TNT Championship defense against Sonny Kiss, Cody Rhodes went on Twitter and wrote a tweet complimenting Sonny's abilities in the ring, but took the time to assure that he would be victorious.

Strongest legs in the company, great balance, and explosive/flush offense(ie 450) when he executes. Really talented and untested.

This, expectedly, brought out some of the vocal narrow-minded bigots who had to voice their displeasure with Sonny Kiss. Cody immediately responded with the following:

This is terrible. And you’re not worth the signal boost.

But I’ll make this clear to fans worldwide.

If you have a problem with a gay man receiving a title shot, you can kiss my ass.

Cody wasn't the only member of the Rhodes family to lash out at the fan, as Dustin Rhodes also shot back at him.

Sonny Kiss will get his opportunity at the TNT Championship this Wednesday on AEW's special Fight for the Fallen edition of Dynamite. Also slated for this event is Brian Cage vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW Championship.
