Edge Suffers Injury During WWE Backlash Match

PWInsider.com is reporting via Fightful that WWE Hall of Famer Edge suffered a torn triceps injury during his WWE Backlash match against Randy Orton, which is still yet to be aired tonight.

The report notes that depending on how severe the injury is, Edge could potentially miss between four and eight months of action.

Furthermore, it's also important to note that the match between Edge and Orton was taped several weeks ago, and the report further states that there was an attempt to keep Edge's injury quiet until it was able to be worked into WWE storylines.

WNS will post more information on this story as soon as it is made available.
