The Undertaker's "American Badass" Gimmick Debuted 20 Years Ago Today

On this day, May 21, 2000, WWE aired their Judgment Day 2000 pay-per-view from Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky.

This event remains remembered by many as it featured the return of The Undertaker as his newly created gimmick, "The American Badass", which was a big step away from his well established Deadman gimmick.

At WrestleMania 36 this year Taker returned to "The American Badass" gimmick, but for now let us take a look back of the debut of that gimmick at Judgment Day 2000 during the Triple H vs. The Rock - Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship!
