Big E On Wanting To Bring "Mail Man" Gimmick To WWE

Big E appeared on WWE’s The Bump this week. He revealed that when he first signed for WWE, he wanted to bring a ‘mailman’ gimmick to the FCW developmental territory.

The trainers at FCW reportedly told him it was not a good idea, and this is where talks on it likely ended. Big E said he had his mailbag and clothing ready for the gimmick, but it obviously still sounded like a no from the training team.

 “I got to FCW and they said ‘no, this is not a good idea’ (laughs). But my name was gonna be Mel, last name, Mann. And I was going to come out with those short like old school Postal Service shorts that were tight. You know what I mean? I had my mail bag.”
