The Rock turns 48 years old today. Also, today would have been the 57th birthday of WWE Hall of Famer Ray "Big Boss Man" Traylor.

After Johnson was done with his career as a football player, he had decided to make the jump as a pro wrestler.

He signed a then at the time named WWF deal in 1997 and had went on to make his in ring debut and become WWF's Intercontinental Champion. His original ring name was Rocky Maivia. A year later he'd become a big part of the Nation of Domination, and in 1998 he had finally won the then WWF Championship. 

He's had feuds/rivalries with the likes of Triple H, Stone Cold, DX, The Big Show, The Undertaker, Booker T, Chris Jericho, and Kurt Angle. There's so many more rivalries he's had with people in WWF/WWE, but these are for sure the top names.
