According to a report from F4WOnline.com/The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, longtime WWE employee and former Hardcore Champion and 24/7 Champion Gerald Brisco was one of the many employees to be released from WWE.

The 2008 WWE Hall of Fame inductee had been working as a talent scout for WWE in recent years, particularly within the amateur wrestling circles, as Brisco was a very accomplished amateur wrestler in his youth.
