Paul Heyman declared that he’s the greatest manager of all time, even though he’s always stressed that he’s only an ‘advocate’ on WWE programming.
It should also be said that Heyman ran ECW, an at the time popular pro wrestling company, back in the 90's. ECW sadly ceased operations in 2001, and this also was the same year when WCW went under. Most of Heyman's ECW stars would later work for WWF/WWE, TNA/Impact Wrestling, and other indy promotions throughout the 2000's and 2010's.
Heyman wrote the following down below:
“Let’s give the credit I have EARNED. No manager has ever managed more champions. None have been in more @WWE #WrestleMania main events. My body of work? Over 33 years. On top. Heenan? Albano? Blassie? Ernie? Bobby Davis? Bow down! I’m #1. And I even redefined the role!#Advocate”
