Reason Why Paige Didn't Appear On WWE SmackDown In Person Revealed

WWE personality Paige made a huge splash on this week's SmackDown by announcing the SmacDown Women's Championship match at WrestleMania, but many fans noted that the former Superstar didn't appear in person. 

Instead, Paige made her announcement of the 6-Pack Challenge via Skype, and this is reportedly due to ongoing travel issues due to the Coronavirus. 

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained the situation, saying: 

"She was not one of those who was willing to come. There have been other people not willing to come and both companies [WWE and AEW] have been really good about it.”

Paige's announcement was that SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley will defend the title at WrestleMania against Lacey Evans, Tamina Snuka, Dana Brooke, Naomi and Sasha Banks.

WWE WrestleMania 36 will take place on April 4, and April 5, at the WWE Performance Center, and will stream on the WWE Network.
