Update On Why Sami Zayn Hasn't Been Wrestling

Many have been wondering why Sami Zayn who manages Shinsuke Nakamura on Friday Night Smackdown hasn't been competing in the ring for quite some time.

The reason Zayn has not been in action is due to the fact he is still injured and his shoulder is reportedly giving him issues again thus why he has been given a managerial role, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Zayn had double shoulder surgery in 2018, it remains unknown if he will require more surgery at this stage.

Zayn was last in the ring on January 19 at a WWE house show in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He teamed up with Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura in a losing effort against Braun Strowman & The New Day.
