In the main event of tonight's WWE NXT TakeOver: Portland pay-per-view, WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole of The Undisputed ERA successfully retained his championship against Tommaso Ciampa after Johnny Gargano struck Ciampa in the face with the title belt, allowing Cole to get the pinfall victory.
