As part of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that as part of the upcoming AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, Dustin Rhodes will go one-on-one with Jake Hager, who will be making his official All Elite Wrestling in-ring debut.
The match was made following a challenge made by Rhodes after he defeated Sammy Guevara in a singles match, saying that he wanted to get revenge on Hager after Hager broke Rhodes’s arm. Rhodes made reference to Hager “collecting a paycheck” in AEW despite never competing in a match and stating that Hager was “failing” at his MMA career.
