The Reason For Rusev’s Absence From WWE Programming

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the reason behind Rusev’s recent absence from WWE programming has nothing to do with him being injured, as has been speculated as of late, but is because right now, creative simply doesn’t have anything for him at the moment.
Rusev hasn’t been on any WWE programming since the January 20 edition of Monday Night Raw. He has also missed two weeks of the same program, as well as the Royal Rumble event.
The report further notes that it also appears that the storyline between Rusev and Bobby Lashley seems to now be officially over.
