Another Name Was Considered To Go Against Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 36

Before Drew McIntyre was confirmed for the main event spot at WrestleMania 36, another WWE Superstar was considered to go against WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. 

Aleister Black was apparently strongly considered, but the decision was ultimately made to go with Drew McIntyre. Heyman is high on both right now.

Meltzer noted, "It was probably the right decision considering it’s early for Aleister Black but he was absolutely in the running for that decision."

Heyman is currently in the process of elevating Drew McIntyre, Alister Black, Buddy Murphy, Andrade and a few more. It will be interesting to see where Black ends up at WrestleMania.
