In regards to the recent verbal altercation between Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble event on Sunday, there is now an update on what went down.

Alex McCarthy from talkSPORT was backstage and spoken to sources who witnessed the situation. McCarthy was told that Lesnar approached Riddle and grabbed his shoulder.

Lesnar said, "Kid, you might as well stop saying my name and tagging me in sh*t because you and I will never work together. Ever."

Nothing more is reported to have happened with Riddle remaining cool during the exchange. The situation is reported to be legitimate and not a worked shoot at this stage.
