AEW Reportedly In "High-Level Talks" With NJPW Star

All Elite Wrestling is reportedly in talks with a former IWGP United States Champion.

Lance Archer has been in negotiations with AEW for "high-level talks" according to Sports Illustrated. Archer still works for NJPW, but his current deal is on a per tour argument.

"Multiple sources close to AEW confirmed that Archer is in high-level talks with the company. He is currently scheduled to New Japan’s tour of the United States, which begins Friday in Tampa and runs through Feb. 1 in Atlanta."
