WWE Looking To Create A New Top Latin American Star

WWE is reportedly very keen to establish a new Latin American star with Rey Mysterio’s career winding down over the next few years.

Vince McMahon is keen to secure the Latin American market and is driving this move with Andrade’s feud with Rey Mysterio being used as a way to elevate Andrade.

There are also plans for Andrade to enter into another feud with a Latin star once this one finishes.

Meltzer said:

"Originally, and this doesn’t appear to have changed, the idea was for Andrade to have a longer very serious program over the title with Carrillo as a way to get both guys over as singles Latino stars."

With Zelina Vega in his corner, United States Champion Andrade looks take down longtime rival Rey Mysterio in a heated title bout.
