R-Truth Reveals Royal Rumble Pitch That Made Vince McMahon Burst With Laughter

During an interview on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, R-Truth discussed pitching the idea of using a Ladder during the 2016 Royal Rumble match as if it was a Money In The Bank ladder match. Truth noted that the idea tickled Vince McMahon and he burst into laughter.

"When I came up with that idea, I went into Vince’s office and said, ‘Hey, I got an idea.’

He was like, ‘What?’…‘What if I had a ladder underneath the ring for the Rumble?’ and he looked at me and burst out laughing, and said, ‘We’re doing it.’"
