Edge Reportedly Not Challenging Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania

For a while now, Edge has been rumored to be returning to the ring for WWE, and speculation of late suggests that might come as soon as the 2020 Royal Rumble.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Edge will not be returning to go up against Brock Lesnar as has also been rumored.

The rumor speculated that Edge would be a surprise entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match and go on to win it, thus challenging Lesnar for his WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36.

Meltzer noted that there are currently no plans in place for an opponent for Brock at this year’s WrestleMania and he has been told by a source that Edge will not be challenging Lesnar.
