Prior to tonight’s WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs event, The Kabuki Warriors issued a challenge to Charlotte Flair and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to challenge them to a match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Flair and Lynch responded to this by challenging them to a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match for the titles.
At tonight’s event, Asuka and Kairi Sane were able to retain their titles by defeating Flair and Lynch due to Asuka climbing the ladder and detaching the titles hanging above the ring. She did so after pulling Lynch off of a ladder thanks to a rope that had been attached to it.
